           Georgetown Fire Dept Inspection station      

Welcome to the Georgetown Fire Department Car Seat Inspection Station. Georgetown Fire Department and Ottawa County Sheriff's Department have teamed up with Safe Kids Lakeshore Coalition to provided a place to have your car seats checked on the eastern side of Ottawa County.

 Inspections are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Church St. Fire Station at 7516 Church St in Jenison.
Inspections are held inside the fire station starting at 9am and run through 12pm. Please enter the parking lot on the west side and pull around to the rear of the building when you arrive. Someone will be with you shortly. To better assist you with your child's car seat, we ask that your child (expecting moms are welcome) be present to make sure the seat fits them properly. Please allow yourself at least 20-30 minutes for the inspection and information session. Due to time constraints we ask that you call ahead to schedule an appointment.
